I like to try and find unique boats to give my stories some flavor. Wood’s Gamble was pretty easy. I needed a super yacht for an oligarch. Finding that required only a quick Google search “oligarch yacht.”
I chose the Dragonfly, which I renamed Starfly. Here is the description. Feel free to skip to the dancefloor and sauna (because every yacht needs one.)

RANGE & PERFORMANCE
Built with a aluminium hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks, she benefits from a semi-displacement hull to provide exceptional seakeeping and impressive speeds. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M71) 2,481hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 25 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 27 knots with a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles from her 110,000 litre fuel tanks at 18 knots. Dragonfly features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels. Her water tanks store around 30,000 Litres of fresh water. She was built to Lloyds Register Lloyds Maltese Cross 100A1, SSC Yacht Mono G6 Maltese Cross LMC UMS SOLAS up to 35 passengers classification society rules, and is MCA Compliant.
Next I needed a speedboat to go along with the yacht. For this I chose Hustler’s 29 Shotgun. The styling matches the yacht pretty well. Powered by Twin Mercury Racing 450R's, the boat is fast and light, two of the qualities I needed for the story. The engines also have a sport mode, which gives a throaty exhaust which I used as well.
